One of our Field Representatives will listen to your special needs, find a suitable Trainee and organise a Training Plan tailored to suit your circumstances.
Traineeships are a cost effective way to staff your business for the future whilst helping someone to become a productive and qualified employee.
The training could be done on-the-job, off-the-job or a combination of both. Many of the skills are taught in the day-to-day tasks, performed in the workplace.
When required, off-the-job training is done at a TAFE college or a recognised training organisation during work time. There are approximately 400 hours of training in total required to complete a traineeship.
This a brilliant way to get hands-on help at work and help a school-aged student get set for a career!
Students typically in Years 11 or 12 receive work one day per week in your workplace and develop their skills and undertake structured training in their own time towards the competencies in their Qualification.
The Qualification also assists the student by being recorded in the Certificate of Education (formerly Senior Certificate).
They normally work one day a week on site. They are also able to work on other occasions such as after School, weekends and School holidays.
